I made it to my grandmothers again and this time, it was special because we were taken on a grand tour of Kangar, Perlis. This particular house, has history in our family. During the early 80's, my mother and her family used to reside here and it belonged to the Datuk Bandar of Kangar. My uncle tells me, he remembers running endlessly through the house. Since then, it has been through many face lifts and today it sits intact, wearing many different colours, it reminds me of a gingerbread house.
